Simone Harding

Simone Harding

Simone is an integrated wellbeing practitioner. She is academically and professionally qualified in psychology, yoga, bodywork, education, midwifery studies and personal training.

Simone integrates contemporary evidence based approaches with yoga and meditation to help you understand the mind and body components of health. By addressing the physical, psychological and emotional elements of health you are given the opportunity to feel resilient, whole and well.

Simone’s work is informed by her background in education, sport and her personal yoga practice spanning nearly twenty years. Her practice is underpinned by core values of integrity, commitment to professional ongoing education and promoting yoga as a legitimate, evidence based tool for whole health.

Simone has worked with semi-elite and elite athletes, weekend athletes, people living in larger bodies, pregnancy, birth and people who have chronic pain. She has contributed to programs to rehabilitate and support clients with brain injury, orthopaedic surgery, generalised anxiety and has improved the wellbeing of people who just don’t feel ‘right’. This is where yoga and meditation com into their own because they address deeper questions of compassion, self care and resilience.

Simone spent a year working clinically in the NHS as a student midwife, personally delivering babies under supervision. She withdrew from the clinical route in order to address wider issues in health. She has written and taught antenatal active birth courses, birth partner workshops and has strong relationships with La Leche and NCT North Devon.
